Welcome to "Bridging the Maitland"

A community News Magazine - Click on image to subscribe - It is Free!

Bridging the Maitland is an online monthly community news magazine that covers community news, events, and community social issues.  Although, Bridging the Maitland is an online electronic news magazine, it is free to download, print, and shared with others in your community that do not have access to a computer or the Internet. Copies of this news magazine can be read in the various community libraries.

Trish MacQueen, the publisher, operates an international E-Publishing company from “The Shoppe” - her art studio/office and home of "Bridging the Maitland Community News magazine.  Since "Bridging the Maitland" does NOT have a staff of reporters, we rely heavily on community-minded citizens to keep us up-to-date on what is happening by supplying us with written articles and photos about events they attend or organize, announcements, news, coming events, etc.  All submissions must include a name and phone number for verification purposes.

Note:  Articles submitted become the property of the newspaper, but any photo supplied with an article will be returned, if requested, once scanned.   Photos will be placed in a return envelope for the owner to pick up, the next time they pass by.

How to submit information to Bridging the Maitland:

  2. Drop it into our drop box in front of the office, as you drive past, or if Trish is away that day.
